The Colorado Ballet Auxiliary Dancing with Our Stars fundraiser brought 360 guests, from several walks of life, who came to endorse their favorite volunteer dancer, including Cherry Hills Village Mayor Doug Tisdale. Other community leaders: florist B.J. Dyer, banker Joe Maslowski, Denver Ballet Guild incoming president Kathy Konopka, Holly Baroway, 9News traffic and weather reporter Amelia Earhart, actress Terri Lombardi, sports broadcaster and First Choice Bank vice president Scott Sax, were the other Dance Stars. Baroway, a 17-year professional ballet dancer who hung up her ballet slippers to become an investment banker, beat out her dance competition to claim the prize.
