Englewood City Council candidate Amy Martinez is an Englewood native who was born at Swedish Hospital and attended Englewood schools. Her family has been in Englewood since the 1950s.
Englewood has a lot of multi-generational families that remain in the city and Martinez says she would like to make sure Englewood is a place people want to purchase homes and raise their families.
“I am running for Englewood City Council At Large because I love Englewood and I see such wonderful possibilities in our community,” she said. “I also want to make sure the entire community has the opportunity to thrive.”
As a volunteer for Englewood’s Cultural Arts Commission and Library Board, Martinez says she has created partnerships that have helped to achieve organizational goals and provide opportunities to the community.
Martinez would like to see homeownership levels increase in the city.
“I would love to see more people be able to purchase a home that fits their particular needs in Englewood. I am pleased to be endorsed by the Denver Metro Association of Realtors,” she said.
