On April 27, Advocates for Children CASA is raising awareness for National Child Abuse Prevention month at the annual Rally for Kids luncheon at The Inverness Hotel. Each April, Advocates for Children CASA hosts a free luncheon for guests to learn more about ways to help and advocate for abused and neglected children.
On April 27 Advocates for Children CASA is bringing the community together to recognize that we each play a part in promoting and sustaining the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and families. Hosted by Advocates for Children CASA supporter and entertainment personality Erica Cobb, Rally for Kids will host over 400 community members who are eager to learn more about the work our organization is doing for abused and neglected children in Arapahoe, Douglas, Lincoln, and Elbert counties.
Advocates for Children CASA is a local nonprofit, founded in 1985, committed to speaking up for abused and neglected children through Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA volunteers. CASAs advocate for these children to grow in safe and permanent environments. As one of the nearly 1,000 CASA agencies across the country, Advocates for Children CASA believes all children should be supported to dream, thrive and grow with a sense of belonging and empowerment to build a successful future.
