The Colorado Bankers Association board of directors has voted unanimously to promote Senior Vice President Jenifer Waller to the position of chief operating officer.
Waller has been with the organization since 1999. She leads CBA’s state-level lobbying efforts as well as managing the organization’s day-to-day operations. She began her career in community banking in 1985 and attended the Western States School of Banking. Prior to her work at CBA, she spent nearly five years as a bank examiner for the Colorado Division of Banking.
“Jenifer’s expertise, dedication and fervent support of not only this organization but the banking industry is unparalleled,” said Don Childears, president and CEO of the Colorado Bankers Association.
CBA 2016-17 Chairman David Kelly, chief risk officer at FirstBank, echoed Childears’ comments.
“The Colorado banking community knows how fortunate it is to have Jenifer as its champion,” Kelly said. “CBA is poised to continue its sterling success record with her rise in leadership.”
