Aug. 1 was National Night Out, an annual celebration that sees local police, firefighters and other first-responders visit neighborhood block parties that encourage safety and a sense of community. In turnabout, Cherry Hill Village also welcomed the community to their “neighborhood” to enjoy pizza at police headquarters and to learn a little about safety from the cops who protect them.
