October 2 was a chilly day but the weather didn’t deter the golfers who enjoyed the spectacular course and facilities of the Colorado Golf Club, followed by a terrific celebration of the campers with special needs and their families served by Adam’s Camp. PGA pro Mark Wiebe has hosted and supported this event for 12 years and said, “I know the value a strong family provides every member. Being a professional golfer comes with a lot of highs and lows and I am lucky my family has always been a rock-solid support system. One of the reasons my wife Cathy and I have always loved Adam’s Camp is because it strives to make families stronger and provide hope that better days are ahead.”
This year’s event was supported by title sponsors, Retirement Plan and Investment Providers: Alger, Allianz, Amundi Pioneer, Blackrock, Fidelity, Hartford, Invesco, John Hancock, Legg Mason, Natixis, Neuberger Berman, Oppenheimer, Prudential, Virtus, and Voya.
Additional sponsors include Allison Medical, Bow River Capital Partners, Buckley Powder, Eide Bailly, FirstBank, Fortis Private Bank, Hercules Industries, Master Klean Janitorial, PhRMA, Roth Living and UMB.
Nearly $250,000 was raised at the Mark Wiebe Adam’s Camp Classic in support of children with special needs and their families.
