Cherry Creek DECA raises money for MDA

Cherry Creek Principal Ryan Silva waits to get dunked with students Kaitlin Bernal, Lizzy Settambrino and Katie Moore. These three students are conducting several events year to help raise awareness and money for MDA. Their next big event will be the Battle of the Bands event held on Dec. 1 in the school’s Fine Arts Theatre.

DECA sponsored a “Dunk Tank for MDA” and raised money that will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association during homecoming festivites at Cherry Creek High School.  The DECA team also built its first homecoming float representing New York City. Cherry Creek DECA will take a trip to NYC in December with 30 seniors to visit and tour various businesses in Manhattan.
