Cherry Hills moves forward on city art search

With success securing the first piece of outdoor art in Cherry Hills Village last November, the Art Commission is moving full speed ahead to find additional art. A community “artful” evening was held July 12 at the home of Gay and Bob Warren to elicit help locating art and gathering financial donations.

About 40 people attended the spirits and hors d’oeuvres party and built community through conversation and renewing acquaintances. Attendees were addressed by Art Commission chair Ann Polumbus, Mayor Doug Tisdale and commission member Doug Smooke.
