City of Cherry Hills Village joins online purchasing system

The city of Cherry Hills Village announced it is has joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System an online procurement system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for government bids. Cherry Hills Village “went live” on the system on Feb. 19 providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for the city of Cherry Hills Village and all other agencies on the system free of charge. The network was developed with the assistance of IPT by BidNet, an Albany, New York company that manages numerous government purchasing websites across the country.

The benefits to vendors of membership on the new system include:

• 24-hour access to business opportunities

• Notification based upon the vendors
