Election Coverage Arapahoe County: Englewood to decide on education funding

On Nov. 1, Englewood voters will decide two ballot questions requesting tax increases referred by the Englewood Board of Education.
If the initiatives pass, Englewood homeowners would pay about $5 more per month in taxes for every $100,000 of assessed property value.
If approved by voters, A new combined middle school and high school would be built on the site of 60-year-old Englewood High School. The proposed campus is contingent upon the first ballot measure that would allow the district to sell bonds and raise property taxes to repay the bonds.
