Glory Weisberg, Society Editor

The Denver Art Museum Uncorked, April 20-21, raised $50,000 more than it did last year, totaling $635,000. The opening live auction item was a Van Gogh theme dinner with museum curator Timothy Standring and it sold twice for a total of $68,000.

The Duncan family was honored for the long-time support of the museum and supported the Becoming Van Gogh exhibition that opens in October. Duncan Oil is a major source of museum funding, providing such efforts as sponsorships, event tables and auction donations. Those donations come from the Duncan family’s Silver Oak Cellars and Twomey
