GloryUs Goings On – Dave Barry makes mascara run; white napkin gets its zebra stripes

Thanks to comic and author Dave Barry, I turned a white dinner napkin into one with zebra-like stripes at the VOA Guild Dinner.

Barry’s fast delivery had tears of laughter running down my face, making me wipe my eyes almost nonstop throughout his hour-long monolog.

Dianne Eddolls, Victoria Frank, Mary Rossick Kern and Diana Murdy chaired the dinner with support from committee members Barbara Greene Carol James, Michael James, Emily Tarleton and Herminia Vigil. This seasoned crew drew a hearty turnout with sponsor levels dubbed Lunatics, I’m Not Taking This Anymore and Tricky Business, among two other levels. What’s not to love?
