Littleton’s Main Street Block Party this Saturday
Retooled event to feature two fireworks displays

“It’s on steroids now.”
That’s the way Greg Reinke describes how this year’s Main Street Block Party on June 9 will be different now that Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants has taken over the annual event from the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re going to step everything up a notch,” the HDLM president said of the party, which runs 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. “We have invested a whole lot of money in this.”
Reinke says the organization’s $31,000 in changes will include an extra hour of block party, an assortment of strolling magicians, improvements in the musical entertainment and not one – but two fireworks displays.

With so many bands & stages it would be nice to be able to find a schedule & rundown of all the acts. Is everyone supposed to wander aimlessly around, not knowing who’s playing where?
