Public invited to airport environmental study meetings

By Clarissa Crozier

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced public input meetings for the new Denver Area Navigation traffic routes under consideration.

The FAA report is a proposed redesign of the airspace that includes Denver International, Centennial and Rocky Mountain airports.  Public meetings at locations near each of the three study airports are June 26-28 from 5:30-8 p.m.

Each meeting will be in Open House format with FAA personnel available to answer questions. A presentation regarding project information and Draft Environmental Assessment findings is scheduled at 6 p.m. at each location. The same content will be presented at each location, however, aspects of each may appeal more to the nearby study airport.
