Santa schedules early stop in CHV for tree lighting ceremony

CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE – Santa Claus will be horsing around Dec. 3 at the Village Center.
That’s because he’s going to arrive on a team of Clydesdales for the annual tree-lighting ceremony at Village Center, 2450 E. Quincy Ave.
The event is open to Cherry Hills Village residents and others from neighboring communities.
The tree lighting ceremony and festival will run from 6:30-8 p.m., with Santa scheduled to arrive at 6:40 p.m. So people are encouraged to bring cameras to record the festivities as well as photos of Santa.
Events include the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony; family hayrides with horsepower provided by the Clydesdales; free hot cocoa, apple cider and cookies; holiday music.
