Public hearing on Greenwood Village budget set for Oct. 22
The proposed 2013 Greenwood Village budget will receive a public hearing at City Hall at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22. Prior to the public hearing, Mayor Ron Rakowsky, City Council and city staff will assemble Oct. 16 for a full day work session reviewing the entire proposed budget document prior to the public meeting.

Taste of Greenwood Village combines Monday Night Football Oct. 15
The Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Charges game is always a must watch, so why not watch it while enjoying food from more than 40 restaurants in the DTC? You can do so at the 12th annual Taste of Greenwood Village set for Monday, Oct. 15, at the Double Tree Hotel, 7801 E. Orchard Road. This year, the Taste’s theme is Monday Night Football with the event beginning at 5:30 p.m. (kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.) and concluding at the end of the game.
Greenwood Village tackles 2013 employee compensation, health care costs
The Sept. 18 Greenwood Village City Council meeting included a 2013 budget discussion on employee compensation and health care costs. The city is addressing some specific budget items ahead of its Oct. 16 budget meeting, due to the budget importance and complexity. With 240 employees, employee compensation, health care and other benefits represent a major budget item for the city.
