Walmart’s newest Walmart Neighborhood Market will open Friday, June 29, in Littleton, introducing a new kind of Walmart store to Colorado and providing convenient shopping for local residents. The store, located at 3615 W. Bowles Ave., is in a former Albertson’s location.

This store is one of five Walmart Neighborhood Markets to open in June in Colorado, the first such stores in the state. They bring a total of 400 new jobs and $25,000 in community grants to local organizations in the area. The other stores are:

14605 W. 64th Ave., Arvada (opened June 20)

1442 S. Parker Road, Denver (opened June 20)

16746 E. Smoky Hill Road, Centennial (opened June 20)

5141 Chambers Road, Denver (opening
