Cavalcade of events kicks off next week

“Fun & Fit!” will be the recurring theme of the 84th Western Welcome Week, Aug. 8-19.
“It’s interesting to see how the parade entries are tying it in. Even the Littleton City Council is taking the theme to heart,” said Executive Director Cindy Hathaway – with no cardiac pun intended. “We had one gentleman who gives drum lessons said drumming keeps you fit. It’s been kind of fun to read the parade applications.”
