YSL’s eclectic art collection auction made for a fascinating Luncheon by Design
A virtual tour of the art collection of Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent was the feature presentation for the Denver Art Museum Luncheon by Design.
Catherine Elkies, Senior VP of Christie’s auction house, flew in from New York City to lead the fascinating tour. It was mesmerizing and Elkies’ personal descriptions of some of the 700 pieces made it all come to life, almost reaching out from the screen to the more than 300 ladies lunching in Ponti Hall.
That number is up from last year’s attendance of 175 and this edition was over sold out.
